Springfield Democrats Last-Chance Postcard Palooza!!
Saturday, October 10 at Burke Center Library from 2:30 - 5:30
Join us as we write for VA candidates running for the House of Representatives and possibly some close Senate races. We’ll provide snacks and supplies. Bring your friends and family!
FINAL POSTCARD PARTY SCHEDULE
Join us for conversations, laughter, and political gossip…er news. We are currently writing postcards for Virginia candidates in flippable US House districts, as well as promoting the three constitutional amendments. We supply the postcards, art supplies, scripts, and addresses. A few bucks for postage or postcard stamps are always appreciated. Please drop in any time.

We have Postcards 2 Go packs available at three locations. A Postcard 2 Go pack includes 20 postcards, address labels, instructions, and a script. You can write these at your leisure, in your pajamas, or with friends. The final mailing date is October 15. For locations, please email postcardsandpolitics@gmail.com.

Join the League of Voters for an in-depth look at the constitutional amendments and referendums on the General Election Ballot. This is your opportunity to go beyond the ballot language, hear from experts, explore the issues, and exchange ideas. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of what’s at stake—and the confidence to explain these important issues to others. Then you can bring that knowledge directly to voters by volunteering at the polls!
The League of Women Voters supports all three proposed amendments to the Virginia Constitution on this fall’s ballot.
#1 — Support the rights of all Virginia citizens to make our own reproductive decisions.
#2 – Protect marriage equality so that the Virginia Constitution recognizes any marriage between 2 adults regardless of sex, gender or race.
#3 — End life-long voting bans by automatically restoring voting rights to felons who have completed their sentences. Ensure that citizens under guardianship only lose their right to vote if a court finds they cannot understand the act of voting.

Democrats at Mason has long been one of the strongest and most influential Young Democratic chapters in our Commonwealth, and we would be deeply honored if you would share in our work to help keep GMU blue by engaging our campus and community as we approach the 2026 Midterms. With Democrats earning over 90% of the campus vote in 2025, we have a proven record of successfully using our resources to engage students and encourage participation within the party and to turn out for Democrats on election day.
All money raised at the event will go towards allowing student Democrats at Virginia’s largest and most diverse public university to continue to organize high-profile events, engage students on and off-campus, and get out the vote to elect and re-elect Democrats to offices at every level in the Commonwealth.
