About The Event
Join us as we help to maintain part of the Springfield District!
Participating with the VDOT Adopt-A-Highway program, Springfield Democrats volunteer to clean a 2-mile stretch of Burke Road, between Rolling Road and Burke Lake Road. We've been doing this community service project for 11 years!
Safety vests, orange trash bags and gripping tongs are provided. Volunteers are asked to wear sturdy shoes, dress appropriately for the weather and wear gloves.
Children age 10 and up are permitted to participate when accompanied by an adult. This event requires walking near passing traffic.
